We live in a world that is infinite and abundant in which everything and everyone is connected.  There is an unseen force in the universe that sustains and organizes everything.  This force allows everything to work in perfect harmony.  And we are all apart of this amazing force.  Your presence on this planet at this moment in time was divinely guided.  We will leave this planet in the same divine way.  What we have to realize is that we are a very important part of this infinite and abundant universe. Just think, we are here in this amazing universe that has no beginning and no end along with the entire galaxy that moves in prefect harmony. Therefore, there must be a purpose for us being here.

 Kahlil Gibran said, “When you are born, your work is placed in your heart.”  Take a moment and contemplate what your purpose and work is. Are you living according to the music in your heart?

 When you are listening to the music of your heart, your soul is vibrating from a place of love, security, kindness and compassion.  This is who you are.  If you practice listening to your heart, it will lead you to your purpose.  There is no special skill that you must learn in order to accomplish this.  You just have to believe, understand and allow your heart to express itself.  Whenever you feel frustration, that is an indication that you are not listening to your heart.  You have allowed your ego to take over which results in feelings of negativity, depression and distractions.  But rest assure that the unseen force of the universe, which is your constant companion, always knows the music in your heart and will lead you back to it.

 Once you learn to live along side this unseen force in the universe, you will start to express the music in your heart.  You will begin to see how the universe assists you in drowning out everyone that thinks they know what you should be doing.   As Thoreau put it, “If a man does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer.  Let him step to the music he hears, however measured or far away.”  So our goal this month is to listen to the music in our heart and do what you know you have to do to feel complete and to feel as if you’re fulfilling your destiny.
