Happy New Year Everyone!

We are moving into this amazing year of 2011 which vibrationally breaks down to the number 4. The number 4 vibration ushers in a time of hard work and building solid foundation for your life. It’s the practical things of life that will dominate this period of time; work, career, family, buying a home and building a solid community. This year may also call you to look further into the roots of your family dynamic in order to sort out your relationship to the childhood drama. The common name for this type of work is “family of origin work” and it’s about getting to the root of the problem. Ultimately the 4 year is asking you to build for the future, lay a foundation, or put downs roots. Use this year to make lasting decisions and put them into action. Needless to say, this universal 4 year will demand a lot of hard work from all of us.

Speaking of hard work, one of the music industry’s brightest stars that has taken the world by storm is Trinidadian born hip hop recording artist Onika Tanya Minaj aka Nicki Minaj. She was born December 8, 1984 and even before Nicki Minaj released her first album, she was a household name. She created mix tapes tracks and appeared in XXL magazine. In 2008 she won the Female Artist of the Year award at the Underground Music Awards. Her debut album “Pink Friday” was released on November 19, 2010 and she became the first female artist to top the charts unaccompanied since 2002. Additionally she became the first artist to have seven songs on the Billboard Hot 100 cart simultaneously.

Since the release of her debut album “The Fame” in 2008, Lady Gaga has been steadily gaining worldwide success and accolades.  Recently Forbes Magazine listed Gaga 4th on its list of the 100 most powerful and influential celebrities in the world. New Statesman magazine voted her 44th among the world’s 50 most influential figures of 2010. She has made a tremendous impact on our culture by changing the way we relate to people that society has labels strange or different.

 Lady Gaga’s numerology blueprint tells and amazing story of how fate and destiny has begin to unfold in her life. On July 4, 1776 the Continental Congress announced that the 13 American colonies were now independent and no longer a part of the British Empire. On this same day, the wording of the Declaration of Independence was approved by Congress allowing The United States of America to declare the 4th of July its Birthday Day (Independence Day).

So let’s look at the numbers that were activated during the creation of this great county and it Independence.

This has placed him amongst some of the most elite players of the game of basketball who have also won back-to-back MVP awards. So let’s look at how Lebron’s numerology blueprint has influenced him over the years.

LeBron was born on 12/30/1984.  His birth date breaks down to the charismatic, creative, and outgoing number 30/3. The 30/3 vibration is all about self-expression. It has gifted him with the ability to attract people from all walks of life. The New Orleans Saints won this year’s Super Bowl. As I watched all of the events leading up to the game, I realized that a large portion of the country wanted them to win. The city has been through so much since the devastation of hurricane Katrina. For a moment in time, I felt that the county was tapped into the collective consciousness and somehow had a knowing that their time hand come. And because of that, we were able to see fate and destiny in action.

Fate and Destiny is represented by two numbers in Numerology; the numbers 4 and 8. They are known as the “Numbers of Karma” and hard luck seems to pursue those whose lives are dominated by the 4 and 8. Under the Law of Magnetic Attraction, the number 4 and 8 seem to be irresistibly drawn together in all kinds of relationships. As I look at the history of The Saints, these numbers appear over and over again.

When Mo’Nique won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the movie “Precious”; my heart was filled with a tremendous amount of pride and adoration for her and her many accomplishments. Her life has not been an easy one; she has encountered many obstacles along her journey. She has mentioned several times that she was a victim of the same abuse portrayed in the movie. But somehow she knew that her past did not dictate her future. And with that knowledge she moved forward with accomplishing her goals in Hollywood.

February is recognized as Black History Month.  It is the time set aside to pay tribute to important people and events in the history of African Americans.  It originates back in 1926 by historian Carter G. Woodson.  Mr. Woodson chose the second week of February because it marked the birthday of President Abraham Lincoln, February 12th and the death of Frederick Douglass February 14th.  He felt that they were Americans who greatly influenced the lives and social condition of African Americans.

Whitney Houston has made a triumph return to the music industry with her new album “I Look To You”. It has reached #1 on the billboard 200 charts and has sold over 300,000 copies to date. “I Look To You” vibrates to the magical number 50/5 which is the number of lasting success, happiness and it has the natural ability to charm others with its magnetic quality. 

On July 25, 2009 the boxing community lost another great champion in Vernon Forrest aka “The Viper” at the age of 38. Vernon began boxing at age 9.  And as an amateur he had an impressive record of 225-16.  He won the 1991 World Amateur Boxing Championships national title and also became the 1992 US junior welterweight champion.  He enjoyed a successful pro career with a 41-3 (29 KO’s) record; IBF & WBC titles in welterweight and super welterweight and fought the likes of Vince Phillips, Shane Mosley, Ricardo Mayorga, Ike Quartey, Carlos Baldomir and Sergio Mora to name a few.  It was in 2001 when Vernon gain real stardom when he became the first boxer to defeat Shane Mosley not once but twice.

Happy 2010 everyone!  As we move into the New Year, I wanted to share with you the energy of the universal year which we will experience in 2010.  Many of you maybe asking what the universal year is?  Well, just as we experience our own personal cycles, the universe is operating in its own cycle as well.  The universal year basically describes the general vibration on the planet which is active during the entire year.  And since we are all affected in some way by the universal year, it is best to understand the current cycle so that we can receive the optimal benefit from it.

The holiday seasons are my favorite time of the year. During this time of year you can actually feel the shift in the energy on the planet.  Even though most people are running around stressed about what gifts to purchase and who to purchase them for; there is a palpable feeling of love, happiness and even bliss in the air. If you just take a few minutes and tune into the energy around you, you can actually feel it. This shift in energy could lie in the various holidays that are celebrated during this time of year as well as the dates that we celebrate them.

Over the years we’ve witnessed the many controversial comments made by Kanye West.  For instance, September 2, 2005 during a benefit concert of Hurricane Katrina relief he deviated from the prepared script and blurted out, “George Bush doesn’t care about black people”. In 2006 he appeared on the cover of Rolling Stone in the image of Jesus wearing a crown of thorns which created a great deal of controversy. Then in November of 2006 when his video “Touch the Sky” failed to win Best Video at the MTV Europe Music Awards, he walk onto the stage as the award was being presented to the winner and argued that he should have won the award instead.

On 6/25/2009 we lost our beloved Michael Jackson. Through his gifts and talents he gave the world such genuine LOVE, compassion and excitement. The world is mourning his death so intensely because it was as if he was a part of each of our families. In one way or another we all relate to his joy and playfulness towards life. His songs and dance moves will be etched in our memories forever.

I’ve always been fascinated by the enormous success achieved by Oprah Winfrey. She is a philanthropist, educator, producer, actress, and billionaire. And this June she was recognized by Forbes magazine for her achievements. Forbes named her most powerful celebrity for 2008. The power ranking is based on both earnings and fame. According to Forbes magazine, in the past 12 months, Oprah has earned $275 million before taxes, and she remains one of the most famous faces in the world. So I thought it would be fascinating to see how her numerology blue print influences her life.

This month we celebrate Mother’s Day a time set aside for honoring our Mothers. The word Mother vibrates to the highly spiritual and intuitive number 34/7. One of the major characteristic of this energy is organized growth and development.

Mother is connected with all of the hidden mysteries of life. Through the mother energy you can integrate the material, mental and spiritual worlds and bring about a systematic approach to your evolution. As mother, you have to be trustworthy and patient with a keen intelligence and a non-discriminate mind. The mother energy embraces patience because she understands that progress takes time. Her family depends on her for straight forward answers to their questions and sound advice for solving their problems.

Let’s talk about Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon and why they were drawn to one another. The reason their connection was so immediate is a result of their powerful life path number. Mariah Carey’s life path number is 2 and Nick Cannon’s is 9.  Both of these numbers are all about love. Emotionally they give to each other equally. The 2 loves being in love and the 9 loves giving love. For these two it’s all about showering each other with an abundance of love.

This month I thought we would take a look at the fascinating couple Beyonce and Jay-Z. It’s been rumored that the couple tied the knot on 4/4/2008.  And the reason they choose that date was because they seem to be obsessed with the number 4.  It appears that they were both born on the 4th of the month and they have gone as far as getting IV tattooed on their right fingers.  But if they took a closer look at their number from a numerology standpoint, they would realize that they have more than just the number 4 in common.

The 2008 Summer Olympics is scheduled to begin on 8/8 of this year. So I thought it would be fascinating to look at the numerology blue print of this day. And just as I suspected this date adds up to a very fateful number. The number 8 represents eternity, wisdom, learning through experience, stability, patience and responsibility. According to the ancient numerologist, when double 8’s shows up in a blue print, it always points to significant and momentous events. So it goes without saying that the number 8 is an extremely powerful number.

This month I will be discussing the vibration of numbers and how they affect all aspects of our daily lives.  Specifically, I will be discussing the relationship of the numbers that are determined by someone’s date of birth or the letters in their name.  I will select a notable individual that the media has focused on recently and analyze their numbers to determine why they responded to the situation the way they did.  This process of analyzing numbers is called numerology.

This month I will explore what Senator Barack Obama’s name and birthday says about him.  He was born on August 4, 1961, so his life path number vibrates with the powerful master number 11.  As one of the two master numbers, the 11 displays understanding and knowledge beyond the scope of others.  Barack Obama is a person of great courage, power and talent with strong leadership skills.  As a deep thinker, he has a great desire to understand many of life’s mysteries and more intriguing issues.  His inventive and broad minded views will allow him to succeed in many ventures in life.  Fame and recognition is likely for him, so he has to be mindful not to allow this power to go to his head.  He will best serve society by utilizing his skills of guiding and counseling others.  Much of his loyalty is toward service of others and quite humanitarian in nature.

Intention is defined as having a strong purpose or aim, accompanied by a determination to produce a desired result.  Most people that live life with this type of intention are characterized as non-stoppable.  They will not allow anything or anyone get in the way of accomplishing their goals.  Even when the naysayer’s are trying to convince them that something can’t be done, they continue their mission with fierce determination.  For them, it’s about never giving up coupled with a clear picture of what they want.  That is one way of describing intention.  Here is a simple truth that I would like to share with you, “Intention is so much more than our destructive ego or our determine will.”  As Carlos Castaneda says, “In the universe there is an immeasurable, indescribable force which source calls intent, and absolutely everything that exists in the entire cosmos is attached to intent by a connecting link.

We live in a world that is infinite and abundant in which everything and everyone is connected.  There is an unseen force in the universe that sustains and organizes everything.  This force allows everything to work in perfect harmony.  And we are all apart of this amazing force.  Your presence on this planet at this moment in time was divinely guided.  We will leave this planet in the same divine way.  What we have to realize is that we are a very important part of this infinite and abundant universe. Just think, we are here in this amazing universe that has no beginning and no end along with the entire galaxy that moves in prefect harmony. Therefore, there must be a purpose for us being here.

You show me someone that doesn’t have a dream and I’ll show you someone that’s probably living a miserable life.  We are all liberated by the dreamers of today.  Since they understand that the world within sustains the world without, their beautiful visions and dreams nourish us.  We cannot overlook our dreamers, nor allow their ideas to fade way.  Their dreams live in all of us, and one day they will manifest into a reality that we will all know.  Because of dreamers like The Buddha, Jesus, Martin Luther King Jr., Harriet Tubman, Mother Teresa, and Gandhi, the world is a much more beautiful place. And if it wasn’t for the unwavering belief in their dreams, many of us would have perished under the fierce pressures of this world.  Just as the prophets and humanities cherished their dreams, we must also cherish our dreams in order to one day realize them. 

The Buddha says that, “Attachment is the origin and the root of suffering; hence it is the cause of suffering.”  Attachment is an attraction or a like which we express in many different ways to situations, people, and possessions.  This concept has sometimes been defined as a condition that can either create some form of emotional or intellectual like or dislike.  It is human nature to identify with people, situations, and possessions from a very personal point of view.  We cannot participate objectivity in any situation because we are constantly projecting our thoughts and believes onto others.

This month the word inspiration has been showing up in my life from all directions.  The many places that it showed up was in a book title; a television commercial and as a topic from a radio show.  And since I believe in synchronicities, I knew that the universe was trying to tell me something.  Not only did it appear to me in these many ways, but I have been having an overload of inspiration in my own life.  Inspiration showed itself to me in the form of ideas that I’ve had for years but never really gave it a second thought.  When these ideas came to me they filled me with a great abundance of joy.  Unlike before when I had an idea, a flood of uncertainty would over take me.  I would just tune my inspiration out.  But this time was much different because I felt connected to the source and totally on purpose.  My creative juices were flowing and I was in a place of extremely high energy.  This allowed me to see the many rich possibilities life has to offer.

This is the time of year associated with clearing clutter and making a fresh start. Instead of cleaning the typical area of our life like our closets, bed rooms, and garages; why not clear the clutter in our minds. Let’s clear our minds of all the negative programming and thoughts that we believe to be true; and make a fresh start with thoughts that truly express the essence of who we are. Once all the clutter is cleared we will realize that we are pure positive energy from an infinite abundant source.

Hello everyone, Every day of our lives we are in the process of creation.  Whether we know it or not, we are using the universal Law of Attraction to create the circumstances and events that shapes our lives.  Since the majority of the time we go through our day unaware of this powerful process working, we are constantly creating unwanted circumstances and events.  So why not begin to use this powerful process to our advantage in creating the life that we want?

We are living in a society where so many people have given their power away.  This may have happen consciously or unconsciously, either way most people are not in control of the circumstances in their lives.  Consequently, they are going through life trying to live up to the exceptions that someone else has set for them.  And every step of the way a small piece of them is dying on the inside.  We have to come to the realization that we are here to live our authentic lives and discover our life purpose.  And the only way to do that is to take our power back.  We have to realize that we have an incredible power and intelligence that resides within us.  This is the same power that creates worlds and consistently balances the universe.  And that power constantly responds to our thoughts and words.  As we discover how to take our power back, we learn to control our mind by the conscious choice of thoughts and words.  As a result, we align ourselves with that power which is GOD.

 In light of the Valentines Day season, I would like to share with you my thoughts on allowing love and positive experiences to flow into your life by using the powerful Law of Attraction.  Just imagine having people and circumstances flowing into your life just the way you want them.  For example, you go to a restaurant and you experience the best service ever.  Or, you are out shopping and upon getting to the register to check out the sales clerk offers you an unexpected discount.  And when you least expect it, Mr. or Miss. right walks into your life.  All of these things just don’t happen by accident.  These things are brought into your life because they are a match to what your thoughts are vibrating.  Because once you set your intention on what you want from any particular situation, the universe will yield to your request.  The key is keeping your attention on what you want and never giving thought to what you don’t want because the Law of Attraction states, “that which is like unto itself, is drawn.”

I’m sure you’ve all heard the old cliché, “love conquers all.”  Well, as cliché as it may sound, the law of love IS the greatest universal law.  It has been found that love is the highest vibration in the universe.  And through the vibration of love, diseases can be cured, wars dismantled and ultimately peace on earth.  We just have to learn to approach love in the manner in which it was intended.  Love is perfect and gives of itself completely; it is the total and complete acceptance of what is.  Love allows, it is about allowing yourself to be whom and what you are and allowing that same right to others.  Love is an emotion or feeling which is beyond description.  It encompasses many things and expresses itself in many forms.  Once you are tapped into the vibration of love, there is no denying it.  Because it creates a sense of joy, peace, and happiness from within that only comes from the highest part of you.

It’s a brand New Year and that means a brand-new opportunity to make some really positive changes in your lives.  Why not make learning the principals of the Law of Attraction one of those positive changes; because everything in your life and the lives of the people around you is affected by the Law of Attraction.  As you begin to learn these principals, you will notice that what you are thinking is in direct parallel to what has manifested into your life.  Keep in mind, nothing just shows up in our lives, we always attract it.

Mahatma Gandhi said that, “The pure love of one person can offset the hatred of thousands.”  And I love how Webster’s dictionary defines love as, “An unselfish loyal concern for the good of others.”  Accordingly, I believe the expression of love is the most powerful energy we have.  This powerful energy has the ability to create positive change in every living being on the planet.  For that reason, we should practice living our lives using this energy of love every single day.  Try starting your day by asking the question, “Who can I send or give love to today.”  By applying this principal, the universe will always send someone your way in need of the very love that you are waiting to give.
